A Public Affair

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:13-15

We were dead in our sins, separated from our Creator. We had a debt that we couldn't pay on our own. Christ stepped in and paid the debt. The power of darkness that was over us was disarmed because Jesus fully paid the price for our rebellion. He did this in a public setting. He wanted the world to see the great length he is willing to go for us. The Lord died for you publicly , will you live for him publicly? May we live a life that proves to the world that Christ has made us alive in him. May we live for Christ publicly showing the world that he was triumphant on the cross. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
