He came to divide.

Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:51-53

Jesus The Messiah came to bring humanity back into fellowship with the Living God.

Christ is inclusive and at the same time exclusive.

Jesus says that he is the only way to God.(Exclusive) No other way can get you to God, including good works, rituals or status.

Jesus is also inclusive. He says “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. No matter who you are, where you are from or what you have done, you can be in right relationship with God if you put your trust in Christ and follow him.

Christ didn’t come to make peace with the world. He came to divide the world. He came to make peace between man and God.

You will have to make a choice. There is no middle ground. You give your life to Christ or you choose to trust in yourself.
