Acts 17:24-25

Updated: Jul 23, 2020

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else." Acts 17: 24-25

Who can compare to the Almighty? The Lord is God all by himself. He is the Creator of all. He is the same God before he created the universe. And he will be the same when everything passes away. The creation can't give anything to add value to a Perfect Being. Nor can it subtract from his value. So how can we honor God? What does God want from me? I believe that God wants us to give back to him what he has given us: our lives. We are the ones that lose or gain value. When we take our lives into our own hands we lose our lives. When we choose to place our lives in his hands is when we actually gain Life. Through repentance and trusting in Jesus, we gain eternal life. May we humble ourselves before the All Sufficient One and give the very life he gave to us back to him. Love ya.
