Do you understand?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

The world has trained me from an early age to trust in myself. It teaches me to follow my heart or to do what I feel. This is a very dangerous place to live. The prophet Jeremiah says that the human heart is wicked above all things. My heart will deceive me quicker than anyone. The Lord calls me to repent. He commands me to turn from trusting in myself to trusting in him. After all I am my worst enemy. This is why Christ says that I must die daily. I am dying to my own understanding and trusting in God's word. May we live by the truth of God's word and not our own opinions. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
