Fruit Inspector

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me WILL OBEY my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who DOES NOT love me WILL NOT OBEY my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. John 14:23-24

How can I tell if I love the Lord?How do I know if I have been born again? There is an easy way to determine if I am following after the Lord Jesus. I can tell by the fruit of my actions and my heart’s intent. Jesus said that those who love him will trust him enough to obey his instructions. To obey Christ means to do what he says and to follow his ways. The person who obeys and follows Christ will look like Christ and produce godly fruit. Those who do not love the Lord, will not trust him enough to obey his instructions. The person who doesn’t obey Christ will look like the rest of the world and produce bad fruit. This person will feel lost and without purpose. Jesus said,”a good tree will produce good fruit and a bad tree will produce bad fruit...you will know them by their fruit”.
