The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. Acts11:26

The title Christian means follower of Christ or "anointed ones". This title was given to the disciples by people unfamiliar with God's Word. The disciples did not give themselves this title. It was given to them by a group of people who could see that they were different. Many of us today call ourselves Christians because we were raised in church and our families are followers. It is a self given title. But would other people call you a Christian? If you went to a place where no one knew you or your family, would the consensus be that you are an "anointed one"? Do our lives re-present the life of our King? May we live our lives in such a way that the community around us knows and believes that we are Christ followers. Have a great day. Love ya
