“I have made you (Israel) a light for the Gentiles (everyone else not Jewish), that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth”. When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. Acts 13:47-48
God chose Israel the smallest and weakest of nations to reveal himself to the world. It is through the nation of Israel that God has revealed himself through his law, the prophets, his scriptures and ultimately through his Son Jesus Christ. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the people of Israel. Even though they are a rebellious people, just like the rest of the world, they had awesome men and women of faith that were given great responsibility to reveal the word of the Lord Almighty to the rest of us. As Christians we are thankful for their obedience and sacrifice. As God’s adopted children we stand with Israel. We are called to love them and bless them. After all the Messiah is Jewish from the line of king David. Our Lord has a heart for his people, Israel. We pray for the salvation of his people and we stand with them. May we as Christians live in such a way that it provokes the Jewish people to turn to the Jewish Savior, who has made a way for ALL people to be redeemed back to the Creator by repentance and faith in Him. Have a great day. Love ya.
