Is it God’s will?

Rejoice always, pray continually, giving thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Anytime I come across a scripture and it says “this is God’s will”, my spiritual alarm alerts me to pay attention. There are three commands here for us to apply to our lives. We are able to implement these commands because of the finished work of Christ. 1. When we are focused on our Savior we can be joyful always knowing that he has delivered us from death to life. 2. Jesus has made a way for us to have constant fellowship with our Creator. We are able to be connected to our Father in a personal relationship in which we are allowed to speak and listen to him continually. 3. When we have a Christ perspective we are able to give thanks in all circumstances. No matter how difficult the situation you will be able to find many things to be thankful for. This principle alone can increase our quality of life. These three things are a part of God’s will for our lives. It may be a great idea to write this scripture down to read throughout the week. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
