Justified!

So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16

The moral law was given to show us the perfect standard of God. No one can live out the works of the law. We have all fallen short of meeting the requirements of the law. Christ Jesus is the only person to fully satisfy the requirements of the law. He was able to live up to the standard because he fully trusts in the Father. In Jesus the requirements of the law have been met. If we put our trust in Christ we will be counted justified before God, just as if we never had broken the law. We can surrender to the Lordship of Jesus and his works will cover our failings. Or we can stand on our own merit and be found condemned for breaking the law. May we trust in Christ and his sacrifice for our justification before a Holy and Righteous God. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
