No more sinning...

And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is. 1 John 3:5-6

To sin is to rebel against God. This has mankind in trouble of receiving the wrath of God. Christ came to set the sinner free from the bondage of sin. Christ offers us a new life. Those who trust in Christ are born again with a new identity. The born again saint doesn’t want to sin any more. God gives the believer his transforming powerful grace that helps the believer to live a holy life before God and man. This doesn’t mean that the believer will not slip up, it means that if the believer does sin there will be immediate confession and repentance from that sin. This is a process God uses to transform us into the likeness of his Son. It is encouraging to know that God has given us his power to help us to walk in faith and obedience to his awesome instructions. May we trust the Lord to live this new life of obedience. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
