Spiritual Armor part 2 of 4

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17

Part 2 of 4

I put on the Armor of God by applying it through prayer and affirmations. Let’s take a look at Truth and Righteousness.

I will say and pray something like this:

Truth: Jesus you are the way, the truth and the life no one gets to the Father except through you. John 14:6

I build my life on your truth. Your truth is a firm foundation on which I can build my life.

I don’t live off of emotions but from your truth. I live by the truth of your Word. I will know the truth and it will set me free.

Righteousness: because of what Christ has done for me, I have right standing with you Father.

I am not a slave to sin but a slave to living the right way(righteousness) Romans 6:18

These are examples of how I put on these two pieces of armor everyday. I pray that the Lord show us how to grow and apply his truths to our lives. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
