That’s deep...

It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to search out matters that are too deep. Proverbs 25:27

You can spend your whole life reading the Bible. Each time you read it the Lord can reveal to you his wisdom, knowledge and understanding. You will not exhaust the treasures of the Bible. There is a temptation to seek things in the Bible that may be too deep for us and that may not actually benefit your life. I talk to people all the time who are seeking information on the nephilim, Melchizedek or the book of Enoch. These are not bad things to study but they can take you down a deep rabbit hole that may never lead to a satisfying answer. On the other hand there is so much wisdom and practical information found in the Bible that if one was to focus on that, the persons whole life would change. May we keep searching after God simple. May we not complicate things by focusing on the deepest mysteries in the Bible. #timetochange #lifeundertheson
